They employ over 150 experienced software engineers, technical experts, project managers and marketing specialists located within their Athens headquarters and two regional offices in Patra and Thessaloniki.

The Ask

Backbone was entrusted with the redesign of Data Communication’s new website and tasked with the challenge of creating a digital platform that would transform their customer experience. Given the client’s diverse target audience, derived from a variety of market segments with very specific online needs, we had to ensure a tailored & personalized experience for each user group from a single digital location.

The redesign goal was to increase targeted website traffic, generate more leads online and in turn boost conversions and online revenues. Data Communication requested a platform that would offer unrivalled support to its vast customer base who constantly requires updated documentation and training materials for the many software solutions offered by the company. Ultimately, they wanted to promote and multiply their partner network of resellers all over the country.

A strong SEO strategy was crucial in building a constant and consistent flow of quality traffic and high converting leads to the website over the long term.  By carefully researching and analyzing the target groups and by cleverly selecting keywords based on segmented audiences we were able to optimize and grow organic traffic quickly.

The combined efforts of content posted to the blog and social media action further boosted visitability and conversions.

The Result

The new Data Communication website now receives XXX users / month - from new customers interested in their products, to existing customers looking for support, to partners interested in becoming resellers of their software.  Further to that, conversions have increased by XXX and they have seen a rise in customer retention since the redesign.

Data Communication’s web and marketing teams successfully manage their website autonomously, adding content and new sections for their growing product offerings as well as making copy adjustments that improve their overall marketing approach.  They are able to work and manage their digital system without regular involvement of BACKBONE - although we are always by their side whenever they need our help.
