BACKBONE Athens is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Full Stack Web Developer to join our growing team. You will be required to plan, analyse and develop cutting edge web solutions for our Greek and international clients.

You will collaborate closely with our technical lead, project managers and web designers in order to achieve the best possible working solutions for our projects. Experience with full-stack (LAMP) development environments, MVC type web frameworks (Laravel / CakePHP) and JavaScript frameworks is essential. Candidates should have a passion for problem solving, and the ability to work, both independently and collaboratively, to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- 3-4 years experience in web development
- Experience with CMS platforms (Joomla / Wordpress / Drupal)
- Experience using OOP concepts, in particular PHP
- Knowledge of MVC web frameworks (Laravel CakePHP CodeIgniter)
- JavaScript frameworks (backbone.js / node.js / angular.js)
- Excellent knowledge of JS, HTML & CSS
- Attention to detail & passion for creating great web user experiences
- Comfortable with IDE environments (Aptana / PhpStorm or similar)
- Comfortable with source code platforms (git / github) and experience with git workflows
- Comfortable working with Linux, Apache and MySQL
- Strong level of spoken and written English
- Self‐motivated and driven team player
- Eagerness to learn and collaborate
